The machine is designed to process an axle-box opening of "side frame" bogie.

Processing is performed by special types of corn mills. The details are based on a spring opening and its outline. Drive - hydraulic.

The machine is equipped with two milling headstocks for simultaneous processing of axle-box opening and bearing surface.

Loading and unloading of parts:

• Version 1 - manual, by cathead.
• Version 2 - automatic, by manipulator.

Milling heads are equipped with measuring devices providing automatic operation of cutting tools. The parameters of processed parts can be kept both in the machine control system and automatic control system of a shop.

A rack-sorting of side frames simultaneously runs with a machine in automatic mode. It sorts parts in pairs with size difference A- 2mm.

The control system runs both in automatic and semi-automatic modes.

The productivity is 3 parts per hour.
